Job summary

RTS Infrastructure is seeking a Senior Construction Manager to lead complex rail infrastructure and depot projects from inception to delivery. Based in Leeds, you will drive safe, on-time and on-budget execution while ensuring quality and regulatory compliance.

You will provide strategic leadership across planning, programming and resource allocation, mentor delivery teams, and manage stakeholder relationships. A strong background in rail construction and CDM is essential.

Qualifications

• HNC/HND/NVQ Level 5 or equivalent in Construction Management or related discipline.
• Significant experience in a senior construction management role within rail, infrastructure, depot or major construction environments.
• Proven experience managing multiple construction projects simultaneously.
• Strong understanding of railway depot environments and project delivery processes.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary project teams and supply chain partners.
• Strong knowledge of CDM Regulations and health and safety management.
• SMSTS qualification.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of multiple rail infrastructure, depot and construction projects from inception to completion.
• Ensure delivery on time, within budget and in line with contractual requirements.
• Provide strategic leadership across planning, programming and resource allocation.
• Review project plans to identify risks and drive mitigation.
• Mentor Construction Managers, Site Managers, Supervisors and delivery teams.
• Maintain strong client, contractor and supplier relationships.
• Oversee workforce planning, budgeting and performance reporting.
• Support commercial activities and bid submissions.
