Job summary

Arup is seeking a Senior / Principal Electrical Engineer to join its Building Engineering team on rail projects. You will contribute to technical design, project delivery and the development of electrical capability across UK and international programmes, working with networks including Network Rail and regional organisations.

You will use digital tools from Microsoft and Autodesk to support delivery, communicate with clients and internal partners, manage progress and risks, and share knowledge

Qualifications

• Chartered Engineer status or working towards Chartership via IET or CIBSE.
• Experience delivering UK multidisciplinary design projects.
• Background in rail electrical design with familiarity with rail client standards.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to technical design and project delivery on rail projects.
• Develop electrical capability across local, national and international programmes.
• Communicate with clients and internal partners, managing progress and risks.
• Share knowledge and contribute to continuous improvement in a collaborative environment.
