Job summary

THE RESOLUTE GROUP LIMITED is seeking a Rail Asset Management Consultant to provide expert consultancy to clients aiming to improve efficiency, capacity and safety of railway assets. You will guide clients and colleagues, support bidding, develop feasibility studies, and lead technical interfaces while mentoring junior staff.

The role requires substantial rail infrastructure experience and a degree in engineering, with a focus on asset management and reliability programs such as ISO 55000/55001.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in rail infrastructure, managing asset management, maintenance optimisation and investment.
• Experience at system and project level in reliability/maintenance improvement programmes and asset management (e.g. ISO 55000/55001).
• Background in rail systems such as telecoms, signalling, ETCS/TMS, OLE/electrification and track.

Responsibilities

• Act as guidance and technical lead to clients and colleagues, delivering at a consistently high standard.
• Support procurement/bidding through technical leadership.
• Develop client feasibility studies to aid business decisions.
• Lead technical management of external interfaces and develop operational interfaces.
• Prepare and present technical publications.
• Mentor and lead junior staff.
