Job summary

Icon UK Limited is seeking a Senior RT to join their new private radiotherapy service in Reading. You will rotate through planning and treatment units, performing radiotherapy planning, image-guided verification and delivery, while supporting a multidisciplinary team.

The role emphasizes patient-centered care, regulatory compliance under IR(ME)R, and contribution to QA, audits and service development. Private sector experience preferred; HCPC registered, BSc in Radiography required.

Qualifications

• Qualified Radiographer (RT) with HCPC registration and private sector experience preferred.
• Experience in radiotherapy planning, image guidance, and treatment delivery.
• Ability to communicate clearly with patients and work within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver radiotherapy treatments and pre-treatment imaging per protocols.
• Support planning suite operations and equipment management.
• Participate in QA, audits, and service development activities.
• Maintain high standards of safety and regulatory compliance.
