Job summary

You will provide patient care and support during diagnostic procedures, working with radiographers and clinical staff.

Qualifications

• Maths and English GCSE or functional skills is essential.
• NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care preferred/required by NHS Band 3 roles.
• Satisfactory test of numeracy and literacy at interview.

Responsibilities

• Provide general assistance for Diagnostic Procedures in Radiology.
• Support patients with care and comfort during examinations.
• Liaise with radiographers, clinicians and ward staff.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of imaging areas.
• Enter appointment details and support departmental administration.
