Job summary

The Senior Radiographer at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust will rotate through radiology sections including X-ray, A&E x-ray, fluoroscopy, interventional radiology, CT and MRI, delivering high quality imaging and patient care.

You will supervise junior staff and students, participate in out-of-hours work, and adhere to Radiation Protection guidelines. The role requires flexibility, professional development, and collaboration within a busy, diverse imaging service.

Qualifications

• Registered radiographer with relevant NHS experience.
• Experience supervising junior staff and students.
• Willingness to work evenings, nights, weekends and on calls.

Responsibilities

• Rotate throughout radiology department (X-ray, A&E x-ray, fluoroscopy, IR, CT, MRI).
• Assist with training of junior staff and students.
• Participate in out of hours work and on-call rotas.
• Ensure Radiation Protection guidelines and local rules are followed.
• Communicate with the team to maintain a safe imaging service.
