Job summary

London Bridge Hospital is seeking a Senior Radiographer to join the Imaging team across the London Bridge Campus, The Shard and Private Care at Guys. You will work in a state-of-the-art private healthcare setting delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging across General X-Ray, fluoroscopy, and theatre procedures.

The role supports general imaging with potential involvement in Cardiac Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology.

Qualifications

• Degree in Diagnostic Imaging or equivalent.
• HCPC registered.
• Significant post-qualification experience within General X-Ray.
• Experience in theatre imaging, mobile radiography and fluoroscopy.
• Desirable: Cardiac Catheter Laboratory and/or Interventional Radiology experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate diagnostic imaging services by operating imaging equipment per procedures.
• Record and report equipment faults and malfunctions to the correct departments.
• Work within a multi-disciplinary team to maximise clinical efficiency.
• Rotate between areas as required.
• Participate in out-of-hours and on-call rota.
• Assist in staff and student orientation and training.
• Perform non-radiographic duties essential to day-to-day department operations.
