Job summary

Wessex Hospital, part of Nuffield Health, is seeking a Senior Radiographer for a permanent 37.5 hour week role. You will lead diagnostic imaging services, providing high-quality care to a varied caseload in a private hospital setting.

Ideal candidates hold a BSc in diagnostic radiography, HCPC registration, a postgraduate qualification, and Radiation Protection Supervisor training. The role emphasises accuracy, compassion, and staff development within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• BSC degree in diagnostic radiography (or equivalent).
• HCPC registration with radiography scope.
• Postgraduate qualification in radiography.
• Radiation Protection Supervisor training/qualification.

Responsibilities

• See each patient as an individual, offering understanding and empathy.
• Deliver a high-quality diagnostic imaging service for a varied caseload – in the department, on the ward and in theatre.
• Work with leading practitioners and cutting-edge practices, equipment and facilities.
• Carry out scoping to develop policies and procedures.
• Supervise and develop junior colleagues.
• Ensure a service of the highest quality is delivered with sensitivity and compassion.
