Job summary

Nuffield Health Leeds Hospital is seeking a Senior Cross-Sectional Imaging Radiographer to deliver a high-quality diagnostic imaging service, including Cardiac MRI, while supporting junior staff.

The ideal candidate will possess a BSC degree in diagnostic radiography and a Postgraduate qualification in CT or MRI, with excellent communication skills and a caring nature. This full-time role offers benefits such as free gym membership and health assessments.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a high‑quality diagnostic imaging service for a varied caseload, including Cardiac MRI.
• Work with leading practitioners and experience new practices, equipment and facilities.
• Supervise and develop junior staff members.
• Provide a service of the highest quality, delivered with sensitivity and compassion.
• Provide out‑of‑hours CT and MRI on‑call service.

Qualifications

• High levels of technical knowledge and the ability to work quickly and accurately, with a great eye for detail.
• A caring nature – to see each patient as an individual and carry out this role with understanding and empathy.
• BSC degree in diagnostic radiography or equivalent to meet HCPC registration requirements.
• Postgraduate qualification in CT or MRI, preferably MRI.
• Post‑registration experience relevant to the role.
• Excellent communication and team‑working abilities.
• Cardiac MRI experience preferred and an advantage for selection.
