Job summary

Nuffield Health Wessex Hospital is seeking a Senior Radiographer to join our permanent, full-time team. The role offers up to £48,000 per annum and a 37.5 hour week, with opportunities to work across department, ward and theatre settings.

The successful candidate will hold a BSc in diagnostic radiography (or equivalent), be HCPC registered, and have postgraduate qualifications, with Radiation Protection Supervisor training preferred.

• HCPC registration
• Postgraduate qualification
• Radiation Protection Supervisor training (desirable)
• Ability to work accurately and compassionately

Responsibilities

• See each patient as an individual, offering understanding and empathy
• Deliver a high-quality diagnostic imaging service for a varied caseload – in the department, on the ward and in theatre
• Work with leading practitioners and cutting-edge practices, equipment and facilities
• Carry out scoping to develop policies and procedures
• Supervise and develop junior colleagues
• Ensure a service of the highest quality is delivered with sensitivity and compassion
