Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience in Neuro CT.
  • At least 2 years experience in X-Ray and Fluoroscopic techniques.
  • Experience supervising staff in a clinical environment.
  • Knowledge of radiation protection compliance.
  • Experience of working autonomously.

Job overview

The Radiology Service is an integral part of the patient pathway at Moorfields and pivotal to our clinical services. The Senior Radiographer will be an active member of the Radiology Department in delivering first class care to our patients, who are referred both internally and externally to the organisation.

As a Radiographer you will work as part of a multi-professional team. The role involves using a range of highly specialised radiological equipment to perform X-Rays, Computed Tomography (CT) and Dacrocystogram scans. This enables clinicians to make important decisions in the care and treatment of our patients.

Main duties of the job
  • The role involves producing high quality X-Rays, Computed Tomography (CT) and Dacrocystogram scans. Experience of working autonomously is essential.
  • Deputising for the Head of Radiology in their absence and supervising other staff within the service.
