Blu Wireless Technology Ltd. is seeking a Principal Radio Systems Engineer to be the technical authority for radio performance across 5-71 GHz products. You will own radio specs, interface with the baseband modem, and prove designs through modelling, lab work and field trials.

This senior, hands-on role reports to the Director of Systems and Platforms and demands leadership across engineers while delivering performance in challenging mobility environments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in radio systems engineering.
• Deep microwave/mmWave knowledge from spec to field deployment.
• Expertise in link budget, propagation modelling, and radio performance prediction.
• Strong beamforming/ phased array knowledge and RF impairments awareness.
• Hands-on RF measurement and testing experience (spectrum, OTA, chambers).
• Proficiency with MATLAB or Python; RF tools advantage.
• Familiar with ETSI/FCC regulatory testing and compliance.
• Mobility, mesh or defence tactical radio systems experience is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Own the radio system architecture and performance budgets for mmWave products.
• Define validate phased-array and beamforming behaviour for moving platforms.
• Build system link budget considering rail, ground, airborne and maritime scenarios.
• Lead interference analysis and resilience in contested spectrum for defence.
• Specify RF front-end and transceiver requirements with hardware teams.
• Define radio test strategy including lab, OTA and field trials.
• Lead regulatory compliance direction across markets with the compliance team.
• Assess new spectrum opportunities and shape the radio roadmap.
• Contribute to proposals, white papers and standards activity.
• Mentor engineers and raise engineering practice and documentation standards.
