Job Description:

An innovative and well-funded fabless semiconductor company, specialising in cutting-edge RF front-end technologies, is seeking a Senior RF Engineer to join their team. This is a technically hands-on role with some customer interaction, ideal for an RF expert who wants to make a real impact in a high-growth environment.

As a Senior RF Engineer, you will work closely with global OEMs and internal product development teams to support the integration and technical validation of novel tunable RF components. While not a traditional application support role, this position requires strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate directly with customers, guiding them through design-in, evaluation, and integration efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a technical interface between the engineering team and global customers, supporting the evaluation and integration of tunable RF components into next-generation devices.
• Provide in-depth technical support on RF system-level performance, antenna matching, and RF chain optimisation.
• Lead customer discussions during design-in and debug phases; develop demo systems and support the creation of supporting technical documentation and data packs.
• Contribute to internal product development discussions by providing customer insight and technical feedback from field use.
• Assist in competitive benchmarking and help shape future product direction based on real-world usage and market demands.
• Regular international travel to customer sites (as required) to provide hands-on engineering support and build strong technical relationships.

Required Experience:

• Experience in RF design, testing, and system integration, ideally within the mobile or wireless device industry.
• Solid understanding of antenna systems, impedance matching, and general RF signal chain behaviour.
• Previous exposure to working with large global OEMs or Tier 1 customers in a technical capacity.
• Familiarity with 3GPP standards, mobile platforms, and common RF test and measurement techniques.

• Technically hands-on and deeply curious about RF innovation.
• Confident communicator with experience in customer-facing technical roles (e.g. field support, systems engineering, or integration).
• Strong problem-solving mindset, with a proactive and resilient attitude.
• Comfortable navigating the challenges of an early-stage, fast-evolving environment.
