We are seeking an ambitious R&D Tax Consultant to join our industry-leading client. This role offers an excellent opportunity to be part of a firm known for its outstanding workplace culture and attractive benefits.

Salary: Up to £65k + bonus

The Role

• Identify qualifying R&D activities and expenditure through technical & financial discussions with clients for new and repeat claims.
• Lead R&D discussions/workshops, explaining the definition of R&D for tax purposes and sector-specific examples of qualifying activities.
• Manage client and stakeholder relationships internally and externally.
• Proactively identify risks in claims.
• Compile technical & financial project reports to support R&D claims with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Manage the day-to-day aspects of claims, set timescales, and communicate confidently with clients about judgments and implications.
• Prepare initial responses to HMRC R&D enquiries.
• Continuously develop your knowledge of R&D tax relief and related issues to stay updated in this evolving field.
