Job summary

Andrews Recruitment Group seeks a Quarry Manager for our Anglesey operations. You will oversee safe, compliant and efficient quarry activities, reporting to the Production Director and acting as Regulation 8.1(c) Quarry Manager.

Applicants should have proven quarrying experience, a relevant qualification, and a full UK driving licence. The role includes leadership of production teams and responsibility for safety, costs and quality.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Quarry Manager or similar with statutory appointment.
• Knowledge of Quarries Regulations 1999 and HSE legislation.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Experience leading operational teams.
• Willingness to work nights/weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for the safe and efficient operation of quarry activities.
• Plan and coordinate extraction, drilling, blasting, crushing, screening and material handling.
• Manage production to meet volumes, quality and customer demand.
• Act as Regulation 8.1(c) Quarry Manager.
• Ensure compliance with the Quarries Regulations 1999 and HSE.
• Lead a strong safety culture with staff and contractors.
• Develop quarry personnel and manage maintenance of equipment.
• Report quarry performance to senior management.
