Job summary

Full Circle Technical Recruitment is recruiting a Senior Quantity Surveyor in Chelmsford to join a major design and build contractor delivering long-term UK water sector projects. The role requires experience in water/utilities/civil engineering with NEC contract knowledge and commercial leadership.

You may be operating at Senior QS level or be an experienced QS ready to take on greater commercial responsibility.

Qualifications

• Experience in water, utilities, civil engineering projects.
• Strong knowledge of NEC contracts and commercial controls.
• Experience managing projects or major work packages.
• Experience with applications for payment, forecasting and cost reporting.
• Degree or commercial qualification advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Commercial management of projects and work packages.
• Managing project costs, value, budgets and forecasts.
• Preparing cost and value reports.
• Managing applications for payment.
• Managing the main contract and ensuring notices and correspondence.
• Preparing and issuing subcontract documentation.
• Supporting procurement and management of subcontractors.
• Collaborating with design, construction and supply chain teams.
• Developing junior members of the commercial team.
