21st Century Building Services is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our growing commercial team in Bedminster, Bristol. We manage refurbishment, new build, fit-out and extension projects across the South West.

You will take commercial responsibility for multiple projects from pre-construction through to final account, including cost control, procurement, valuations and final accounts, with support for tendering and pre-construction activities.

Qualifications

• Experience as Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor, ideally within a main contracting environment.
• Degree in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management preferred, but relevant experience will also be considered.
• Strong commercial awareness and contract knowledge.
• Experience managing projects through the full commercial lifecycle.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Managing project costs, budgets and commercial reporting.
• Procurement and management of subcontractor packages.
• Preparing and agreeing valuations, variations and final accounts.
• Monitoring project performance, risk and commercial opportunities.
• Working closely with clients, consultants and our supply chain.
• Supporting tendering and pre-construction activities.
• Managing multiple projects across different sectors.
