GS3 Recruitment Manchester is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead the commercial management of a residential housing scheme. You will take ownership of budgets, cost plans, procurement, and CVRs from pre-construction through to final account.

The role requires experience in social housing or residential construction, strong commercial knowledge, and proven leadership of a commercial team.

Qualifications

• Experience within social housing / residential construction.
• Excellent commercial and contractual knowledge.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Proven experience of managing a commercial team.
• PCSA Experience.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple workstreams.
• Full UK Driving Licence

The Opportunity

We are working with a reputable and growing contractor delivering high-quality social housing developments, who are now seeking an experienced Project or Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team.

The successful candidate will be commercially responsible for a new residential scheme, taking full ownership of cost control, procurement, and commercial reporting from pre-construction through to final account.

Experience in residential projects values of £30m+

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Senior QS looking to work on meaningful projects with long-term career progression.

Essential Requirements

Desirable

• HNC/HND/Degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management
