Job summary

Skilled Careers is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead commercial activities for social housing refurbishment and capital works projects. Based in Boston or Grimsby, you’ll manage contracts, drive commercial performance and work with multi-disciplinary teams across the Northern portfolio.

The role requires experience in refurbishment or capital works, strong contractual awareness and a willingness to travel. A competitive package with car allowance and bonus is on offer.

Qualifications

• Experience as Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor in refurbishment, social housing or capital works.
• Strong commercial and contractual awareness with ability to manage contracts.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the Northern portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial performance of social housing refurbishment and capital works contracts.
• Secure full contractual entitlement and monitor costs, revenue and profitability.
• Prepare cash flow forecasts and revenue profiles; support monthly reporting and governance.
• Provide contractual/commercial advice to operational teams and manage supplier relationships.
