Job summary

Cornerstone Project Source is seeking a permanent Quantity Surveyor to join its Essex-based team. You will manage, report on and control all commercial and financial aspects of roofing and cladding projects, coordinating with Design, Procurement and site teams to deliver on time and within budget.

Starting immediately, you will produce payment applications, cost reports and forecasts, monitor budgets and risk, and support junior staff.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Quantity Surveying experience, ideally in façades or roofing.
• Degree qualification (2:1 or above).
• Full driving licence.
• CSCS card ideal though not essential.
• Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office and bespoke packages.

Responsibilities

• Create applications for payment, variations and adjustments.
• Produce cost reports and regular reconciliations and forecasts.
• Track monthly figures and flag budget constraints to stakeholders.
• Prepare and issue contractual notices where required (Near EOT/ECT).
• Review drawings against tender/contract drawings and note changes.
• Maintain site records and update payment applications.
• Procure subcontracts and manage subcontractors.
• Support junior staff and drive commercial awareness across the team.
