Job summary

Cornerstone Project Source Ltd, a leading roofing and cladding contractor, is seeking a permanent Quantity Surveyor in Essex. You will manage commercial and financial aspects of projects, working with Design through to Procurement to deliver on time and within budget.

Reporting to the Commercial team, you will prepare payment applications, cost reports, track budgets, and liaise with clients and subcontractors. Immediate start available with a salary up to £65,000 per annum.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years' Quantity Surveying experience, ideally in façades/external envelope or flat roofing
• Degree qualification (2:1 or above)
• Full driving licence
• CSCS card ideal but not essential
• Strong communication skills and organised mindset
• Ability to use MS Office and bespoke packages

Responsibilities

• Prepare applications for payment and variations
• Produce cost reports, reconciliations and forecasting
• Track monthly figures and manage budgets with relevant departments
• Review drawings against tender and contractual requirements
• Manage subcontractors and procurement processes
• Visit site to record progress and inform payment applications
