Job summary

Randstad Construction and Property in Redhill, Surrey is seeking a commercially sharp Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor for a long-term contract with a premier traditional house builder.

The role requires hands-on commercial expertise in a high-volume residential environment, with either 15+ years of proven housebuilding experience or a proactive, high-energy surveyor ready to hit the ground running from day one.

Qualifications

• COINS software proficiency on a daily basis.
• Residential housebuilding experience with 15+ years or high workload in fast-paced environment.
• Available for ASAP start in Redhill.

Responsibilities

• Manage all commercial and financial aspects of traditional housebuilding developments from procurement through to final accounts.
• Utilise COINS software on a daily basis for cost reporting, sub-contractor payments, CVRs, procurement schedules and valuations.
• Procure sub-contract packages, negotiate trade terms and maintain strong commercial relationships with supply chain partners.
• Conduct monthly cost-to-complete forecasts, budget reconciliations and cash flow projections.
• Work with site managers, technical teams and external consultants to manage risk and protect profit margins.
