Job summary
Hampshire Recruitment Group LTD is recruiting a Senior Quantity Surveyor for Eastbourne, covering renewable energy, data centre, and utility infrastructure projects. You will lead a small commercial team and own the commercial delivery from tender to final account.
Based in Eastbourne, you will manage NEC/JCT contracts, oversee procurement, and drive project profitability while mentoring two Junior Quantity Surveyors. A comprehensive benefits package is included.
Qualifications
- Senior quantity surveyor experience in civil engineering, renewable energy, data centres, electrical infrastructure or utilities.
- Proven tendering, procurement, contract negotiation and commercial management skills.
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline; RICS membership or progression is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Lead commercial delivery from tender through final account for multiple projects.
- Mentor two Junior Quantity Surveyors and coordinate with Document Controller.
- Review and negotiate contracts (NEC/JCT) and manage valuations and variations.
- Oversee procurement and subcontract packages and manage client relationships.
- Produce cost forecasts, budgets, and monthly CVR reports.
