Job summary

Kier Group is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor for the Rail team in Oxford. The role is based at Oxford Station with 45 hours per week and some flexibility.

Suitable for candidates with strong experience in supervising subcontractor accounts and valuations and a focus on cost control and profitability. You will lead commercial activities on allocated projects, build strong relationships with clients and suppliers, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to high standards.

Responsibilities

• Managing all aspects of subcontractor accounts and procurement to secure value.
• Preparing interim valuations, final accounts and monthly applications for payment.
• Leading cost control activities to ensure profitability.
• Compiling and agreeing variations and managing project risks.
• Supporting and developing junior surveyors while maintaining client/supplier relations.
