Job summary

Fulkers Bailey Russell is recruiting a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead the commercial delivery on public sector projects from our Hybrid UK offices in London, West Malling or Brighton. You will oversee cost planning, procurement and contract administration across Higher Education, Government, Healthcare and Blue Light sectors.

The role combines client liaison, mentoring of junior staff and driving value through robust financial management, risk control and performance reporting, with a focus on

Qualifications

• Chartered accreditation in quantity surveying preferred.
• Experience delivering large projects through full lifecycle.
• Strong cost planning, procurement and contract administration knowledge.
• Ability to mentor junior team members and manage client relations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the production and management of cost plans and cash flow forecasts.
• Oversee procurement including tender documentation and evaluation.
• Manage contract negotiations and client liaison through pre- and post-contract stages.
• Administer contracts as Contract Administrator or Employer's Agent.
• Oversee interim valuations, cost reporting and variations.
• Support risk registers, value engineering and reporting.
