Job summary

United Infrastructure Group in the UK is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead commercial activities on projects and drive financial success within a Main Contractor environment. You will manage subcontractor relations, payments, and contract administration to ensure value and risk control.

The role requires NEC contract knowledge, strong negotiation skills, and close collaboration with clients and supply chain partners. On-site work on major sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience leading commercial aspects on construction projects.
• Knowledge of NEC 3/4 Option A & C contracts.
• Ability to coordinate with clients and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate terms and conditions of subcontracts.
• Manage and process payments for specialist subcontracts and key suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with contract terms, conditions, rights and obligations.
• Report monthly on Pain/Gain (if applicable).
• Coordinate changes or amendments per NEC 3/4 Option A & C.
• Analyse impact of changes and liability exposure.
• Monitor and track contract obligations and progress.
• Prepare monthly valuations and maintain change registers.
