Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is recruiting an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a major infrastructure team delivering the London Power Tunnels project. The role covers commercial management of multiple work packages, interim valuations, cost control and final accounts on complex civil engineering and tunnelling works.

The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline, have NEC3/NEC4 experience, and be adept at cost reporting and subcontractor management.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline (required).
• Strong NEC3/NEC4 contract knowledge and practical experience.
• Experience managing subcontractor packages and cost reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage all commercial aspects of assigned work packages.
• Submit interim valuations and applications for payment.
• Monitor project costs, forecasts, budgets and cash flow.
• Administer subcontractor accounts from procurement through to final account settlement.
• Prepare and manage compensation events, variations and change control processes.
• Produce monthly CVR reports and identify commercial risks and opportunities.
• Support subcontractor procurement and ensure NEC contract compliance.
• Collaborate with project teams to maximise profitability.
• Prepare and negotiate final accounts with clients and subcontractors.
• Assist with financial reporting and commercial performance reviews.
