Job summary

Advance TRS is recruiting a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead commercial and contractual management across major civil, electrical and infrastructure projects. The role reports to the Commercial Manager and will focus on commercial performance, risk management, and client relationships from project start to final account.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related discipline, or HNC with relevant experience.
• Experience with NEC3 and NEC4 contracts across civil engineering and infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of valuations, variations, applications and final accounts.

Responsibilities

• Manage NEC3, NEC4 and bespoke contracts across multiple projects.
• Lead quotation submissions and ensure contract orders are in place.
• Manage valuations, applications for payment, variations and final accounts.
• Manage subcontractor and supplier accounts.
• Prepare and maintain CVRs and cash-flow forecasts.
• Monitor project costs, revenue, margins, risks and opportunities.
• Attend client progress and commercial meetings.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Identify commercial risks and opportunities and implement actions.
• Support procurement and management of the supply chain.
