Linxon is hiring a Quantity Surveyor in Glasgow to manage project costs and NEC 4 contracts. You will be responsible for preparing cost forecasts, validating payments, and identifying commercial risks. Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor on large-scale construction or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of NEC 4 contracts, particularly Option C.
• Excellent financial management and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control project costs to ensure delivery within budget.
• Prepare and review cost forecasts, identifying risks and opportunities.
• Validate and manage subcontractor and supplier payments.
• Administer the NEC 4 Option C contract.
• Manage Compensation Events and variations.
• Work closely with the Project Manager.
• Identify, analyze, and mitigate commercial risks.
• Provide regular financial reports including CVRs and forecasts.
