Job summary

Linxon in Glasgow is seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support commercial delivery across Substation projects. You will assist with take-offs, valuations and cost reporting in a live EPC environment, while coordinating with site teams and suppliers to maintain data accuracy.

The role emphasises hands-on contract administration, governance and quality, with mentoring from senior QS colleagues as part of a multi-site programme. This is a great entry point into major infrastructure delivery.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
• Strong numeracy and Excel skills with clear written communication.
• Interest in infrastructure delivery and live EPC environments.

Responsibilities

• Take-offs, valuations and payment applications for subcontracts (civil, M&E).
• Maintain cost reporting, CVRs and monthly project commercial reports.
• Assist with early warnings, compensation events and change control.
