Job summary

CR Smith in Dunfermline is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to take ownership of major contracts across Scotland and Northern England. You will report to the Head of Commercial and shape commercial decision-making within a growing team.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
• Experience managing commercial contracts within construction.
• Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
• Confident communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Take commercial ownership of key contracts from mobilisation to final account.
• Manage valuations, variations and final accounts.
• Lead contract mobilisation, negotiation and subcontractor procurement.
• Produce cost forecasts, budgets and commercial reports.
• Build relationships with clients, supply chain and stakeholders.
• Support commercial best practice and continuous improvement.
