Job summary

ISS Facility Services UK is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our Capital Projects team for a government client. You will deliver cost management, commercial governance, and value across projects under NEC4 contracts, ensuring financial control and compliance throughout the lifecycle.

Responsibilities include budgets, forecasts, tendering, valuations, and risk management, with strong emphasis on cost accuracy and stakeholder collaboration.

Qualifications

• Degree or HND in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• Experience in cost management and NEC4 contract administration.
• Proven ability to prepare valuations and manage payments.
• Experience with large capital projects (£5m+).

Responsibilities

• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and cost plans for projects.
• Monitor financial performance and report against targets.
• Administer NEC4 contracts and assess contract risk.
• Prepare tender docs and negotiate with suppliers for best value.
• Certify payments and manage variations and claims.
