Job summary

ISS Facility Services UK is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our Capital Projects team for a government client. You will lead cost management and commercial governance across NEC4 contracts, ensuring financial control and value delivery throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities include budgeting, forecasts, payment applications, valuations, risk management and tender negotiation. A Degree or HND in Quantity Surveying and PQS experience are required, with strong

Excellent analytical, negotiation, verbal, and written communication skills.
Strong understanding of cost management and tendering processes.
Experience with applications for payment, valuations, change control and risk management.
Proficiency with Excel/Power BI; familiarity with cost-management systems.

Responsibilities

Prepare and manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost plans.
Monitor and report on financial performance against targets, with P&L accountability.
Administer NEC4 contracts and ensure contractual compliance.
Identify and mitigate contract risks and variations; manage claims and payments.
Prepare tender documentation and negotiate with suppliers for best value.
Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to deliver commercial advice.
