Job summary

ISS Facility Services UK is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to support the Capital Projects team on a government client. You will drive cost management, commercial governance, and value across NEC4-based projects, with oversight of budgets, forecasts, and contract administration.

The role requires PQS qualifications, post-qualification experience in construction/FM, and strong communication with stakeholders. Travel across sites is expected as part of the delivery.

Qualifications

• Qualified Quantity Surveyor with a Degree or HND in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent).
• Post-qualification experience as a Quantity Surveyor in construction/FM, ideally Government/corporate/education environments.
• Strong knowledge of NEC4 contract administration.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost plans.
• Monitor and report on financial performance against targets and project P&L.
• Administer NEC4 contracts and ensure compliance.
• Identify, assess and mitigate contract risks.
• Prepare tender documentation, evaluate submissions, and negotiate with suppliers.
• Review and certify applications for payment and prepare interim/final valuations.
• Manage variations, compensation events and claims, maintaining records.
• Collaborate with project managers, clients, suppliers and stakeholders to provide commercial advice and governance.
