Job summary

Randstad UK seeks a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead commercial delivery on a flagship highways infrastructure project. You will manage NEC3/NEC4 Option C Target Cost, CVRs, forecasts and subcontracts with a collaborative client and supply chain.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering is required or desirable MRICS/MCInstCES.
• Proven track record as Senior QS or Lead QS on major UK civil/infrastructure highways schemes.
• Strong knowledge of NEC3/NEC4 contracts (Options A, B and C) and target cost environments.
• Familiarity with SHW/MMHW, and modern commercial management software/ERP systems.
• Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as commercial lead for designated project sections under NEC3/NEC4 ECC (Option C Target Cost).
• Proactively manage EWNs, risk reduction meetings, and compensation events with robust pricing and substantiation.
• Prepare and present monthly CVRs, forecasts and Earned Value Management metrics.
