Job summary

A leading civil engineering contractor in Central London is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to manage major infrastructure projects. You will oversee commercial responsibilities from pre-construction to final account, ensuring projects are delivered profitably and contractually compliant. Desired candidates will have extensive experience in civil engineering, strong negotiation skills, and a relevant degree. This role offers a competitive salary of £70,000 – £85,000 and flexible office working arrangements.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within major civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge and experience administering NEC contracts.
• Ability to manage stakeholders across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Take full commercial responsibility from pre-construction through to final account.
• Prepare and manage applications for payment.
• Produce cost reports, forecasts and monthly CVRs.
