Job summary

Bouygues Travaux Publics is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to support the Lower Thames Crossing (LTC) project. Location: Tilbury or Thames Estuary, United Kingdom. Permanent, full-time, on-site/office-based role with occasional travel for the LTC programme.

You will manage commercial aspects, procurement packages, change, reporting and governance, while collaborating with clients and supply chain partners to protect commercial position and ensure safe, efficient delivery.

Qualifications

• HND/Degree Qualified and MRICS or equivalent.
• Commercial experience within major civil engineering/infrastructure projects.
• Proactive and energetic approach to improve project outcomes.
• Strong communication and relationship-building with clients and supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Manage major procurement packages with the supply chain to drive value and successful delivery.
• Oversee cost management, forecasting, and commercial reporting for allocated packages.
• Administer NEC contracts, manage change, early warnings and compensation events.
• Prepare, review and manage cost reports, forecasts, and cash flow information.
• Manage valuations, applications for payment, subcontractor assessments, and final accounts.
• Identify and mitigate commercial risks and opportunities; escalate when needed.
• Collaborate with delivery, planning, procurement, finance and wider teams for informed decisions.
• Maintain accurate commercial records and ensure proper document control.
