Job summary

Dalkia UK is recruiting an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor (M&E) to join our team in Shrewsbury. You will lead the commercial management of MEP works on a major healthcare development, ensuring cost control, contract compliance, and strong supply chain performance throughout the project lifecycle.

Working alongside an established team, you will prepare CVRs, cost reports and forecasts, manage cash flow, and procure subcontractor accounts.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in commercial management within MEP or M&E subcontracting.
• Proven track record in cost control, reporting, subcontractor management and change management.
• Solid understanding of NEC and/or JCT contracts (NEC Option C desirable).
• Experience preparing CVRs, cash flow forecasts, and cost to complete.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a wider commercial team.
• Experience in live environments (e.g. healthcare) is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of monthly reporting and commercial processes.
• Excellent time management with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Collaborative, supportive, and proactive mindset.

As a Senior QS, you will lead the commercial management of MEP works, ensuring cost control, contract compliance, and strong supply chain performance throughout the project lifecycle. You'll also gain exposure to a wider pipeline of healthcare projects across the Dalkia North business, offering long-term career development and progression.

  What You’ll Bring

  Are you an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor with a strong experience in commercial management within MEP and or M&E subcontracting? Do you have a proven track record in cost control, reporting, subcontractor management, and change management?

  In addition, you will also need;
