Job summary

Cumming Group UK & Europe is seeking an experienced cost management professional to lead project delivery and client reporting. You will prepare budgets, cost plans and valuations while managing risk and value throughout the project lifecycle.

The role requires MRICS or equivalent and a strong track record in construction cost management, with excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder skills. You will contribute to tendering and business development and mentor junior staff.

Qualifications

• MRICS or equivalent qualification required.
• Ideally degree qualified in construction, cost management, engineering or QS.
• 5+ years' experience in cost management / construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of contract forms (JCT, NEC).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assume day-to-day delivery responsibility for projects and work with minimal supervision.
• Prepare budget estimates, cost plans and client reports.
• Provide risk and value management.
• Contract administration including valuations, forecasts and cost reports.
• Support bid and tender preparation and business development.
• Develop the business through networking and client relationships.
• Mentor and coach team members to enable growth and career development.
