Job summary

Ernest May Recruitment Ltd in Bristol is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to take commercial ownership of projects and protect the on-site commercial position, reporting to a Project Manager or Commercial Manager.

You will lead procurement, cost control, CVR reporting and forecasting, while identifying risks, managing changes and overseeing final accounts. This role involves supporting and developing junior team members and liaising with clients and PQS to keep projects on track commercially.

Qualifications

• Senior Quantity Surveyor with main contracting experience.
• Strong procurement and subcontract administration capability.
• Experience with cost control, CVR reporting and forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement, subcontract administration and payment/valuation processes.
• Manage cost control, CVR reporting and forecasting.
• Identify and manage risks and contractual changes.
• Oversee final accounts, variations and dispute resolution.
• Support and develop junior commercial team members.
