Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent is required.
• Working towards or Chartered membership is preferred.
• Experience in utilities/civil engineering/MEICA sectors is essential.
• NEC3 experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Quantity surveying duties for managing projects and work packages.
• Coordinate with design, construction and supply chain to capture, analyse and control cost.
• Collaborate with client to ensure business requirements are met.
• Manage the main contract and raise contractual notices as needed.
• Prepare and issue subcontract documentation.
• Assist in managing and developing subcontractors.
• Prepare project cost and value reports, budgets and forecasts.
• Support development of junior commercial staff.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional conduct across internal/external contacts.
