Job summary

Monaghans Property is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead cost management and procurement across a portfolio of Retail, Commercial, Residential and Leisure projects in Manchester or Sheffield.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified (BSc Quantity Surveying or equivalent).
• 7 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Strong contract knowledge and contract administration experience.
• Experience leading teams and developing junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide full pre and post-contract Quantity Surveying services
• Act as a key client-facing representative and trusted advisor
• Manage procurement, tendering, and contract administration processes
• Monitor budgets, costs, and risk profiles to ensure successful project outcomes
• Lead and coordinate internal teams and external consultants/contractors
• Support and mentor junior team members
• Contribute to wider client account management and business development
