Job summary

Balfour Beatty Power T&D is expanding its Commercial team in Scotland and seeks Senior Quantity Surveyors for the Beauly, Blackhillock, New Deer and Peterhead 400kV Overhead Line Project. Hybrid working from Glasgow, Inverness or Elgin, with flexible travel and both full-time and part-time options.

Successful candidates will bring experience in Power T&D or NEC contracts and will contribute to commercial excellence, procurement strategies and stakeholder management across the region.

Qualifications

• Experience managing commercial activities on construction or infrastructure projects.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Leadership experience and a passion for developing others.

Responsibilities

• Manage all commercial aspects of projects and workstreams.
• Prepare commercial reports, forecasts and financial reconciliations.
• Review contracts, rates, variations and compensation events.
• Monitor subcontract performance and commercial compliance.
• Develop procurement strategies and programmes.
• Mentor Assistant, Graduate and Trainee Quantity Surveyors.
