Job summary

Wood Transmission and Distribution is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the Commercial team. The role offers a hybrid arrangement between home, site, and our Glasgow office, with occasional site visits across Scotland.

You will lead cost control, contract administration, and reporting on major civils/infrastructure projects. The candidate should have extensive QS experience, NEC contract knowledge, and the ability to develop commercial strategies while supporting project forecasts and

Qualifications

• Degree plus professional qualification (preferred).
• Experience as a QS or Senior QS in civils/ infrastructure.
• Knowledge of contract administration and change management.

Responsibilities

• Post award contract administration including payment applications and invoicing.
• Provide commercial deliverables such as cashflow forecasts and reporting.
• Develop and maintain project commercial plans and strategies.
• Conduct regular cost analysis to maximise recoverable costs and identify savings.
• Prepare and analyse inputs for contract and internal project reporting.
• Support development of robust project forecasts with the project team.
