Job summary

1st Executive Ltd in Essex is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead the commercial performance across a major multi-scheme portfolio spanning street lighting, civil engineering and technology infrastructure. You will own profitability, manage complex contractual risk and provide leadership to junior surveyors.

Reporting to the Managing Surveyor, you will deliver accurate CVRs, cost forecasts and change control, while building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to optimise

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
• Extensive experience at Senior QS level.
• Proven experience managing civil/infrastructure or utilities schemes.
• Excellent knowledge of NEC3/NEC4 Target Cost contracts.

Responsibilities

• Lead the commercial lifecycle across a portfolio of major schemes.
• Deliver accurate financial reporting, cost systems and CVR forecasts.
• Drive commercial performance and manage change control, claims and variations.
• Mentor and develop Assistant/Junior Quantity Surveyors and support procurement strategies.
