Job summary

Advance Training & Recruitment Services in Cheltenham is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a leading infrastructure consultancy with a broad project portfolio across highways, rail, water, and utilities.

You will lead pre- and post-contract commercial services, manage client relationships, mentor junior staff, and contribute to project delivery across multiple programmes. Hybrid working is available with a competitive package.

Qualifications

• Previous Senior Quantity Surveying experience within Infrastructure (highways, rail, water, utilities).
• Strong NEC3 or NEC4 contract knowledge and commercial awareness.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Experience across consultancy, contractor or client-side roles.

Responsibilities

• Cost planning and commercial management.
• NEC3 & NEC4 contract administration.
• Managing compensation events and change control.
• Commercial reporting and forecasting.
• Procurement support and valuations.
• Client and stakeholder management.
• Mentoring junior Quantity Surveyors.
• Support projects from inception through completion.
