Job summary

Capstone Recruitment UK in London is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager to lead cost management on major infrastructure and energy projects. You will focus on contract administration, commercial reporting and change control, collaborating with clients, project teams and contractors.

The role offers exposure to power, utilities, renewables and BESS, with opportunities for progression within a respected team and a strong project pipeline.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years' experience delivering major infrastructure/energy projects.
• Hands-on NEC and/or FIDIC contract administration.
• Experience managing contractual change including compensation events, variations, and claims.
• Strong commercial awareness with cost reporting, forecasting and advisory.
• Confident in liaising with clients, contractors and project stakeholders.
• Experience in a consultancy, client-side, or contractor environment.

Responsibilities

• This role will focus on contract administration, commercial reporting and change control throughout the construction phase.
• You will work closely with clients, project teams and contractors to navigate commercial issues as projects progress.
