Job summary

NRG. is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join its growing infrastructure commercial team across the North West.

You will provide commercial leadership on major civils and energy projects, ensuring value, cost control and contractual compliance. The role requires strong NEC contract experience, excellent stakeholder management and the ability to work closely with Construction Managers, Designers and Planners to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' Quantity Surveying experience.
• Background in Civils, Utilities, Infrastructure.
• Experience with NEC contracts.
• Subcontract management and commercial reporting experience.
• Strong cost control, forecasting and reporting skills.
• Proficient with Excel and Microsoft Office; Oracle experience helpful.
• Knowledge of CDM and health & safety.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage the commercial performance of projects and work packages.
• Support forecasting, budgeting and cost control.
• Prepare CVRs and commercial reports.
• Manage subcontractors, valuations, payments and final accounts.
• Handle variations, change orders and contractual events.
• Support procurement and subcontract negotiations.
• Monitor costs, risks and commercial opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with internal commercial processes.
• Collaborate with construction managers and operations teams.
