Sphere Solutions is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a major healthcare construction project in RCT. The role leads commercial and contractual management from procurement through to final account, overseeing budgets, cost reporting, forecasting and cash flow.

The ideal candidate will have proven QS experience in healthcare or complex projects, strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills, and a relevant Quantity Surveying qualification.

• Strong commercial and contractual management experience.
• Healthcare, hospital or complex construction project experience is advantageous.
• Excellent knowledge of cost control, procurement, valuations and final accounts.
• Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently while supporting the project team.
• Relevant Quantity Surveying qualification.

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a major healthcare construction project in RCT. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially astute QS to take a leading role in the financial and contractual management of a significant project within a live healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the commercial and contractual management of the project from procurement through to final account.
• Manage sub-contract packages.
• Manage project budgets, cost reporting, forecasting and cash flow.
• Prepare, review and negotiate variations, valuations and interim payments.
• Oversee subcontractor procurement, payments and final account negotiations.
• Identify and manage commercial risks, opportunities and contractual issues.
• Work closely with the project management and delivery teams to ensure commercial objectives are achieved.
• Maintain accurate commercial records and provide regular financial reports to senior management.

Requirements:

• Relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.

Contract Details:

• Duration: Minimum 24 months, with potential for extension-temp to perm also available.
