Job description

Help redefine how London’s residential towers are delivered.

Residential towers are complex to deliver.

We believe there is a better way.

At hyTower London, part of the employee‑owned PCE Group, we bring together intelligent design, engineering, advanced offsite manufacturing and construction within a single integrated delivery model. This helps our clients deliver complex residential developments with greater certainty, better quality and sustainability considered throughout delivery.

As demand for our approach continues to grow, we’re looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to become part of the team shaping what comes next. You’ll join a growing, employee‑owned business where your ideas are valued, your contribution is visible and your career can develop alongside the business itself.

This is an opportunity to do more than manage commercial performance.

You’ll help influence how landmark residential developments are procured, delivered and continuously improved.

You’ll work across pre‑construction and live delivery, collaborating directly with senior leaders and integrated design, engineering, manufacturing and construction teams.

This gives you the opportunity to understand the complete delivery journey, influence decisions from the earliest stages and see the impact of your commercial judgement throughout the project lifecycle.

Contract: Permanent
Location: London, EC2A
Reports to: hyTower London Director

What you’ll receive
  • Annual discretionary bonus and Employee Ownership Trust rewards.
  • Private healthcare.
  • Pension and life assurance.
  • Employee Assistance Programme.
  • 25 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays, increasing with service.
  • Ongoing professional development and structured learning.
  • Genuine opportunities for progression across multiple sectors, disciplines and projects.

As demand for our approach continues to grow, we’re looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to become part of the team shaping what comes next.

Commercial responsibility with visible influence

You’ll:

  • Lead the commercial management of projects from tender through to final account.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of project specifications, pricing, programmes and contractual requirements.
  • Support the negotiation and agreement of client and main contractor contracts.
  • Lead supplier and subcontractor procurement, from assessing proposals and placing orders through to managing accounts, relationships and commercial performance.

  • Strong knowledge of JCT and/or NEC contracts.
  • Excellent commercial judgement and negotiation skills.
  • Experience managing procurement packages, subcontract accounts and supply chain relationships.
  • Experience handling valuations, variations, claims and final-account negotiations.
  • Strong financial reporting, forecasting, cashflow and cost-management capability.
  • The confidence to challenge constructively and influence commercial decisions.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong organisation and attention to detail.
  • A proactive, collaborative and solutions-focused approach.

If you’re looking for a role where your experience, ideas and judgement will have a visible impact, we’d like to hear from you.
